Ramadhan Mubarak

Assalamualaikum wbt...
Today is the 2nd day of Ramadhan this year, 2010. Even though we didn't get the day off... but that's ok, pupils were great. Most of them perfom their fasting very well. There was this one boy, from my class, he was crying sadly, I asked him why and he said, he had stomach ache hmmm first day of Ramadhan maybe his stomach was kind of shocked. Luckily, he managed to wait until maghrib. Syukur...

As for me, I got home almost 6pm yesterday, still managed to cook for my sunshine. Chicken soup (not the book of course.. hehe)... ALA mamak... with spices... requested by him lah of course... Wow, I couldn't believe my soup was good! Hahaha.. as the judge said lah kan... Alhamdulillah... so today we are going to eat the same menu because there are some leftover in the fridge. I was soooo touched that today my sunshine went to the bazaar Ramadhan and he called me at school, asking what would I like to have... hmmmmm I'm very pleased, first I asked for nase ambeng... unfortunately, there were no nasi ambeng there... then I changed to Nasi beryani.... and then I changed again... this time.. fried kuetiaw! yummy... thanks sayang... for the drink, at first I asked for Katira... but it's hard to find one here... so I choose "Jagung"... nice... can't wait to break the fast... it's 7pm now... I haven't go to the kitchen yet to warm up the Chicken soup...

I hope that this Ramadhan would be happiness to my husband and I and our beloved families... We are praying to Allah that He blesses us with His hidayah... May we become the best ummah and full with patient... ameen...

Green Tea

Assalamualaikum... wbt...
It's been a while since my last entry (again)... :) Today I just want to share my thoughts about Green Tea. Eversince I wrote an article from Mingguan Wanita last week, I came across this exciting topic of green tea. I believe most people already know about the advantegous of this tea. To me, it's a great thing to know more about it now. As a non-tea-lover before I decided to change it now. I have started with Boh's Green Tea (because of the reasonable price of course). I figure, if it's really a good deal why don't I try and take a couple of cups everyday. Antioxidant is pretty crucial now for our body. I don't know how to measure the effectiveness, so I just maintain taking the tea everyday. My husband knows about my determination and he is an absolute supporter. Thanks B.

As I'm typing, I'm also washing the clothes, tidying the house and what not... my mind keep thinking of the time I should get going today... I plan to go to TESCO (& Nagoya Textile)... to buy some stuffs (which I'm not going to say what)... hmmm but the sweetness of taking the time super slowly doing this and that puts me in some kind of mode... hehehehe... wasting time maybe?

oklah... need to iron the clothes...

Wesak Day planning

Assalamualaikum... :)
This week is my turn again for duty... but luckily, it's going to be only 4 days... Friday is the holiday!!! At first we, of course me and my sunshine, were planning to go straight back to Kota Tinggi. We would depart at 8:30pm at most but then the plan change, my sunshine said that we are going to Kuantan, Pahang that Friday night. We are going to Induk's (one of our aunts)... convoy I should add... nice... (or maybe not)... I never been there before.. they were just moved in last december if i'm not mistaken... but for my hubby, he was there for a few times now. We will be on our way to Kota Tinggi after breakfast that Friday, and he said at 10:30am at most... it's going to take more than 4 hours journey from Kuantan to Kota Tinggi...

hmmm I want to continue hanging up my not so wet clothes... okey dokey...

I am lucky

Assalamualaikum... :)
It's been a while again... since I last wrote something in here. Today I just want to talk about what I've been doing since this morning. As usual, we woke up early, watched tv for a while, and I was thinking of what was our breakfast going to be... should I cook some rice and fried them or should I make some "jemput-jemput"? I even discuss with my beloved husband.. ahahah... discussion? hihihi All of a sudden, he suggested us to have our breakfast at Shahjee... hmmm that's the place where he used to go eating while he was in KLMU (along with my Pokda I might add)... This wasn't my first time there... it is my 4th or 5th time... the Roti Pratha ala Pakistan... is superb! That is our favourite dish once we step our foot there... yummy.... owh back to the breakfast story, we reached Shahjee around 9:40am... we were excited!

It was quite a shocked some of the usual meals aren't there yet... *sigh* but luckily the famous roti pratha was ready to be served... this time we just ordered one, we don't want to be so greedy like before.. ahahaha... what a story... one of the waiter suggested that we ate the pratha with their special dip (Pakistani's styly)... it was a mixed of milk and sugar and something else, which I'm not sure what.. well, he was right... the taste was great! My hubby also said so... that would definitely be our choice the next time we're there... :)

around 11am we were already home... The chores began... I wash some of the dirty clothes, assebled my Grolier's bookshelf... I liiiike... my sunshine, wow, he started to made the bed, swept the floor and he even helped me hang the clothes out at the balcony... thank you so much, dear... I am so touched and blessed. He is the greatest husband... helpful... caring... kind... wise... and all the good and great things there ever be... thank you Allah... :)

in the evening... while my husband was taking his nap, I finished my clothes-folding ceremony ahahah... including the ones that I just took from the balcony. Then, I started preparing the ingredients for cooking. Our dinner tonight were ayam masak sambal, sawi goreng and some of the scramble left over... wow.. we were so fulled now... :) my sunshine praised me and I wouldn't ask for more... eehhehehe... I love cooking for him... whatever makes him happy, makes me happy too...

and now, here I am, writing this blog in the living room, on the coffee table next to the television cabinet (on the right of it) while my hubby is watching the TV3 news... he is sitting on the couch, behind me... only a foot distance...

I think I want to get back to my farmville games... before I start writing my report book... hmmm okey dokey... bye bye

Happy Belated Birthday, Mak!

Assalamualaikum...
Yesterday, 1st of May was my mother's 53rd birthday, at 12:30am that day, I send her a text message wishing her all the greatness. She's been so great to me and my siblings. That is my one and only mother. She's always been there for me, supports me whenever I'm down and insecure. Mak, forgive me for all the wrongdoings that I ever did to you, I never even once meant to hurt you... You are the best...
That morning, my beloved husband gave her a call and wish her... I know she likes it so much...
Even though I can't be there near her on her big day, she never forget to ask me and my husband for her present.. I know she's just joking around, but we plan to give her something... something that will be remembered all the way...

Today... is the fasting day for my husband... (not me)... so as per requested by him yesterday, I cooked "ayam masak lemak cili api", "ikan kembung goreng" and "sayur sawi + jagung goreng". I am so glad that he really loves them. He ate them all.. nothing more making me smile all the way than seeing him satisfy with the food.

After we finished our maghrib prayer just now, I decided to go online for a while ;).. while my husband is cleaning and washing the bathroom now... thank you, abang!

Tonight I would like to watch Mentor 4 @ TV3... so I guess I will not be bringing this laptop to the living room as I always did... ;) Concentrate!~

What a story morning glory (^_^)

What a story... yes it's a morning glory... I was about to iron my husband's shirt and pants when he asked me if I want to go online first... Hmmm thank you so much... I didn't right away gloated on the keyboard, I asked him what time will he be leaving for work. It's half an hour to go. So, ok I guess... :)
He's been great to me and I'm very thankful to Allah to be having him as my husband.

I'm thinking of going out to buy some breakfast but the super laziness grew in silence... to change, to warming up the car, to lock, to... etc. Maybe next time.. owh, I forgot... last night we have some fried noodles left over... *glad*
okey dokey... Breakfast done!~

I don't plan to write so long. So I should be stopping just about now.

Jazz Chant

Assalamualaikum... I hope it works... well, I try to upload a short video of my pupils perfoming a Jazz Chant. I am very proud of them. They give all their heart to perform. Next time I'll try to guide them better. I teach three classes, all of them with different type of attitudes but when it comes into test or exam, I can see that they are trying very hard... I guess they can try harder because I know they can do better... I love them sincerely eventhough sometimes I scold them for their misbehaviouring but with never fail of reasoning...

Mark; Mark; Mark

As a start, I've already stapled together my pupils' paper 1 and paper 2... For one class I have done marking so two more classes to go. Hmmmm... I sure hope to get it done by this morning or else... the marking will be dragged till I don't know when... fiuuhhhh... really need to motivate myself. Some friends of mine they already bragged bout it. Good for you!~ Pray for me.. hahaha.. Actually this wasn't a big of a deal... just sit and get it over with... I know I don't want to let my pupils down as they keep asking me "Are you done yet?" (with marking of course).. ;) I'm just a little overeacting...

almost as new

Assalamualaikum... :)
Today, I think I'm going to start writing here... :) It's been so great to know that my niece and nephew are already starting to write their own blogs. Good for them! and my husband always proud of them both (and their siblings too). They express themselves in a way that they feel great to share with others. Well, I know one thing for sure, we'll be reading your blogs from time to time. It's fun to know their stories... the fact that we are so far away by distance yet so close here in our hearts.

Writing this early I mean at the ealy age really help. It helps in so many ways, your vocabs, your courage and your opinion. Great structures will be built up eventually. and when the time comes... they'll just blossoming beautifully. I wish my little brother, Anep is like that. I really hope that he can build up his identity in writing etc. Owh, and especially in english... I know he can be better.. but it's kind of hard to be teaching him from here... while he's in Kota Tinggi. I keep on praying for him... if he is ready to enter the world of writing, or expressing himself, he'll be ready to become a confident and great kid.

It is really cool if the adults can keep on supporting the children to express themselves in positive ways... sharpen their interest in writing things that happen in their lives whether those things or events caused them to feel happy or sad. Express youselves!~
